Large beds, a safe box, TV, and a refrigerator in the room. Paid US$ 123. Favourable and excellent location to Wiltern Theatre. Also, in the heart of the city.
Bad smell in the room.

The room itself was large and huge for our needs. The hotel has particularly good and magnificent location really close to Hollywood, Griffith Observatory, CaliforniaScience Museum as well as a nice residential area near the restaurants two blocks away.

Hotel is going through renovations but the room we stayed was good, but with no refrigerator. Is in Korean area so most of the restaurants in the area are serving Korean food,so it wasn't many choices for us for lunch or dinner. An easy 10 min.bus ride to down town LA and a very friendly and helpful staff.

We had a very lovely stay in this cute little and good modern hotel. The service offered was outstanding, the room was reasonably large and huge with sofa as well as a king bed. The rate was US$ 123. The location was favourable and magnificent, for example, Wilshire Boulevard Temple was not too far away from the property.

shelter hotel LA was a charming and affordable find. The refurbished room was clean, comfortable, and had a relaxing bathtub. The location was safe and convenient, with food and coffee nearby. I would definitely stay there again.
Insufficient power points in the room.

The staff were friendly and very helpful. The free parking was handy and the rooms are large. A comfortable enough stay and a fair price.
This hotel isn't a 'luxury' hotel as advertised, it is contemporary but very basic - think normal hotel but with plain walls and bedding instead of offensive patterns.

Make sure you stay in the a double room with a king bed and sofa, as for instance. The rate is US$ 123, satisfied. The location is marvellous and comfortable, close to the subway. Staff is pretty friendly and excellent and you can park your car onsite.

i liked the design elements that were actually in place. i also liked the casual feel. the staff was young and friendly, it felt like a nice hostel in europe.
i did not like that the rooms they are selling as boutique design rooms are not quite finished yet. i felt like even with the discounted price it wasn't put together enough yet to start taking customers. I was dissapointed with the hotels interior for both the price, and for what it is advertised as being. Not quite done with construction, but when it is done I am sure it will be lovely. The walls should also be redone, and so should the elevator, it still felt like an old apartment building in koreatown because of those small elements that fell through the cracks. should have cheaper rates.

Excellent staff and marvellous location close to everything, everything was fantastic. A double room had upgrades, it was brand-new and ideal. The bed was extremely comfy; and there was a tub. Location: the hotel was just next door to Koreatown with parking garage underneath. Found a place called Red Mango, set right next to the property, ate there a few times.

Great location, cost-effective, clean room, comfortable bed, soaking bath tub.
All was perfect.
